As a result of successful growth, Noxopharm is seeking a CFO/Company Secretary with deep experience in the Australian financial regulatory system.
The successful candidate will hold the following qualifications and skills:
- Relevant tertiary degrees in Finance, Accounting, Business or Law; relevant Company Secretarial qualifications
- Knowledge of ASIC and ASX rules and software technology platforms, and experience with Australian listed company Corporate Governance and Board processes
- Familiarity and experience with overseas stock markets advantageous
- You will be responsible for providing a high level of proactive and professional financial and company secretarial administrative support to the Company’s relevant business functions.
- This role reports directly to the Noxopharm Board of Directors and the CEO

About the Role: Chief Financial Officer
- Preparation and authorisation of quarterly Appendix 4C cashflows
- Preparation of half yearly and yearly financial statements
- Oversee all Financial duties, and Management accounts
- Oversee Monthly IAS and quarterly BAS
- Monthly Management accounts produced from Accounting programmes
- Responsible for the Noxopharm Group’s expenditure forecasts
- Responsible for project-based investment and finance research and analysis;
- Financial supervision of funding strategies for the Noxopharm Group
Skills and Experience Required:
- Relevant tertiary degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Law;
- Proven experience providing efficient and effective administrative and financial expertise across all areas of finance and accounting
- Exceptional prioritisation, organisation and time management skills, with a strong keen eye for detail coupled with a high degree of accuracy;
- Abilities to problem solve, multi-task, meet deadlines and work under pressures;
- Strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills with a friendly ‘can do’ attitude, and a strong desire to contribute positively to the team environment of a rapidly-growing drug development company
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
About the Role: Company Secretary
- A key member of the company organisation and a primary point of contact in the implementation of corporate acquisitions, disposals and mergers.
- Ensure the Noxopharm Group’s interest are protected by proper effectiveness of all documentation, ensuring due diligence disclosures, enabling proper commercial evaluation prior to the completion of a transaction, ensuring timely execution of all related documentation and others
- Responsible for preparation and deadline management of a wide range of business administrative and regulatory filings, including but not limited to Annual Returns, IRD and IRS (FACTA and QI), ASIC (e.g. Annual Statement), Companies Office filings, and the maintenance and updating of all company information on relevant registers;
- Attendance at all Board meetings; Board Reports and Minutes taking and filing;
- Lodgement and recording of all ASX-related documents and announcements
- Preparation and lodgement of Company notices with the Australia Securities and Investments Commission required for all matters.
- Maintenance and updating of all professional registers for company stakeholders (e.g. CPD records) in compliance with local requirements;
- Other general company secretarial and administrative duties as required.
- Liaising with the Company’s Auditors in relation to Company Secretarial matters required for preparation of the Half Year and Full Year Financial Statements
- Overseeing corporate and regulatory aspects of funding strategies and mechanisms
- Resolution of complex shareholder enquiries; liaising with the Company’s Share Register Manager
